In the early 2000s, Marco waded into the industry, starting out in the provincial backwaters of Lombardy before eventually making his way to Milan in 2006.
As a cinematographer he was taken down different paths, ultimately refining his skills in commercials and docufiction which led him to lighten his cinematic style towards a more understated and naturalistic approach.
He revels in projects that push him to new territories, small sets rife with the unexpected and extended productions where new bonds are forged.
