Sebastián Antico was born and raised in Buenos Aires, and apparently his porteño accent has not changed despite living in Madrid for almost 20 years. In spite of having Spanish and Italian roots, his argentinity has not waned over the years.
Being passionate about cinema, he studied cinematography at the Universidad del Cine de Buenos Aires, specializing in directing and editing.
Like every film student, he vowed never to work in commercials. Shortly after taking that oath, he began his career as an ad editor: it would seem that Groucho Marx made him change his principles.
Later on he settled in Madrid, following his career and dividing his time between Madrid, Barcelona and Buenos Aires.
Starting in 2012, he began directing spots for non-profit organizations and later commercial spots.
His strength is the direction of actors and humor. He has dabbled in the tabletop and
his long career in the field of editing and his constant relationship with other directors has given him a solid understanding of film narrative.
Feel free to call on him to make spots or to make asados. Or both.
